The Aputure STORM 400x is a 400W tunable white, high-fidelity point source LED light designed for filmmakers, photographers, and lighting professionals. Powered by Aputure’s revolutionary BLAIR (Blue/Lime/Amber/Indigo/Red) light engine, the STORM 400x delivers unmatched white light quality with advanced +/- green adjustability. Indigo emitters enhance fluorescing materials, replicating the natural look of daylight and tungsten sources.

Despite its compact design, the STORM 400x’s output matches or exceeds many higher-wattage LED lights, making it a powerful yet portable solution for both studio and on-location shoots.

Color Tuning & Advanced Control

With Limited HSIC+ and x,y control modes, the STORM 400x achieves vibrant, saturated colors across more than 70% of the Rec.2020 color space. From deep crimson sunsets to warm sodium vapor ambers, you can create cinematic color effects without the need for gels.

ProLock Locking Bowens Mount

The ProLock Bowens mount securely holds even the heaviest modifiers and optics, ensuring perfect alignment during demanding shoots. This innovative mount system guarantees reliability and ease of use on set.

Compact Powerhouse

Pair the STORM 400x with the CF7 Fresnel lens for an intense beam capable of delivering over 23,000 lux at 3m. This makes it an ideal tool for key lighting, backlighting, or powerful fill lighting in professional productions.
