I really like the LiteGear LED lights. Lightweight and easy to throw up anywhere. I love that they're bi-color and they'll even do a few simple programs like flashes and such. My biggest complaint are the power connectors, but these have been corrected in the new Plus series LiteMats.

Nice Light, too Many Pieces

Nice versatile light with good color accuracy and luminance.

Versatile and light. For instance, can be mounted with tape to a wall. But the biggest plus is that clients are asking for 'em! Too many pieces and kinda bulky when packed in its case. Still haven't found a good way to travel them safely on the trucks.

A beauty for small crews

I came really close to writing off LED lights completely as the previous LEDs I had were horrible color, hard to control and cheaply made. After looking into kinoflo gear I really wanted to color changing ability of the LED, but with the quality accessories to make rigging easier. Kinoflo LEDs just didn't hit my fancy, so I kept looking and finally found these beauties. At first I considered just getting the Litemat 2 due to price, but with a slight nudge from a friend I picked up a set of the 4s. I am beyond happy I nudged up to the 4s as our work, consisting mostly of corporate video production requires a lot of soft light in minimal spaces with quick setup.

These fit the bill right on the money for us. The lightweight setup is hands down the best out there. It makes moving and rigging these guys super easy. The kino baby pin is absolutely brilliant integration and again makes setup and rigging super fast. By far the best feature is the quality of light. The super soft, high quality color is a dream to work with. We had previously worked with Sony A7s cameras which are notorious for having difficult skin tones. With these guys, skin tones were a breeze. As our needs expand I can't wait to incorporate other sizes of the Mats for various locations, fills, and accent light.

Fantastic product and I 100% recommend them.

For the Price Value, Form Factor, Weight and Color Temp options I don't think there is a better light on the market right now.

Perfect soft light

The litemat 4 is a great soft source for key or fill. Great in tight spaces where other lights wouldn't be able to fit. All of the cables and power supply are a bit of a mess and a little bit of a pain, but over all it's a great light. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Light weight, small footprint, great soft source even close to your subject. Dimming capability, bicolor The mess of cables, dimmer, and power supply.
