Advantage Grip EZ Travel 4x4 Break-Down Collapsible Frame, EZ4848.FF

These are great if your vehicle is on the smaller side and you can't fit a regular 4x4 frame in. A bit expensive for what it is, but it works.

I had my doubts when i watched the video for the EZ frame, but i bought it anyway. My concerned was with the bungee cord that is within the frame that allows it to be collapsible. It seemed to me that once collapsed the bungee cord would (or could) potentially rub against the frame sections and eventually shear thru it....which is now what's happening to mine. I've owned the frame for a couple months and its been used maybe a half dozen times...and unfortunately one area of the bungee cord is already worn halfway through. Its now only a matter of time. I've attached a couple pics...and unfortunately doesn't make the bungee cord look as bad as it really is.

For a portable, lightweight, 4x4 frame - this is a great option. The frame is strong and the elastic cord that runs through it makes setup and breakdown quick and easy once you get the hang of it.

This collapsible style frame is great for those of us that need to fit a bunch of gear into a car our SUV, but don't have the physical room for a traditional 4x4 frame. This space saving frame comes at the cost of speed (time to set). Knowing this going in, you would be advised to build the frame as part of your prep and staging when you land on location to save time once shooting begins.
