The Aputure CF16 Motorized Fresnel Lens for STORM XT52 is a professional optical accessory designed to dramatically enhance the performance of Aputure’s flagship STORM XT52 LED fixture. Built for film, television, broadcast, and commercial production environments, the CF16 delivers exceptional beam control, motorized focusing, and extreme output intensity in a compact, travel-ready design.

Featuring a 16-inch Fresnel lens and a motorized dual-expanding focusing system, the CF16 intensifies the XT52’s native output by up to 7x, producing up to 184,500 lux at 9.8 feet (18°, 4300K). The adjustable 18° spot to 50° flood beam angle provides smooth, cinematic falloff from center to edge, allowing precise shaping for any lighting scenario.

Motorized Focusing with Remote Control

Unlike traditional Fresnel attachments, the CF16 uses a motorized dual-expanding barrel design that adjusts both the front and rear lens elements. This enables accurate, repeatable focus control directly at the lamp head or remotely via Sidus Link, Sidus Link Pro, or DMX (with optional control hardware). The focusing motor features a 12-second throw for fast and reliable adjustments on set.

Built for Professional Production Workflows

Designed with Aputure’s proprietary mount, the CF16 integrates seamlessly with the STORM XT52 LED fixture. Included CF16 barndoors allow refined beam shaping and spill control, while the safety cable provides added rigging security. The compact form factor and included rolling soft case make transportation and storage efficient for studios, rental houses, and location shoots.
