The Mini Fresnel dramatically boosts and focuses the output of your Ray fixtures, making them far more effective for longer throws and tight pools of light. At 3.3' (1 m), it can deliver up to about 23,790 lux with the Ray 60c or roughly 42,600 lux with the Ray 120c at 4300K in the 15° spot position, giving you powerful illumination from a very small head.

This extra intensity is perfect when you need to fight ambient light, create dramatic contrast, or highlight a subject against a bright background. Instead of moving lights closer or raising ISO, you can simply tighten the beam for more output where you need it.
