Orders ship from multiple warehouses and all items may not be contained in one box.

Domestic Shipping:

Many of our orders ship same day or next day. However, to ship orders as quickly as possible, product may be shipped from our Connecticut warehouse or directly from our manufacturers. Heavier items, custom orders and larger orders may be drop shipped from the manufacturer to keep our prices low and reduce the need for reshipment.

Please allow a longer lead time for larger orders and custom orders. Our customer service staff will advise you of the expected ship time when you place your order.

Be assured that every order is given careful attention to make sure it is shipped as quickly as possible.

BarnDoor Lighting uses UPS, Fedex and USPS for most orders. Larger, over-sized items may ship common carrier. Free Shipping offers apply to the Lower 48 States.

*Please Note* Oversize items or orders over 150lbs (dimensional weight) will incorrectly show $0 for shipping. This does not indicate free shipping. Please select "Call For Shipping Quote" as shipping method. Shipping charges that are "zero" will be calculated after receipt of your order. You will be notified of updated shipping charges before order is shipped.

International Shipping:

BarnDoor Lighting Outfitters is pleased to ship orders direct to Canada via Federal Express or US Mail for most orders. For larger orders, we will be happy to quote common carrier delivery, if the buyer has a broker in Canada that our trucking service can coordinate delivery through. All brokerage fees, tariffs, and duties/taxes are the responsibility of the buyer when ordering items that require delivery by truck, US Mail or Federal Express Economy delivery.

However, another option is to ship your order to a Kinek location across the US border to save on international shipping and brokerage fees. To learn more visit: Kinek.com

With respect to other international countries, we are pleased to ship via US Mail or Fedex if payment is made through Paypal and is "confirmed" / "verified". We also accept bank checks and bank wires. We will ship large orders to a freight forwarder, if customer prefers to have their shipment coordinated by another party. The countries that we ship to are shown on our check out page.

Kinek Border Shipping for Canadians:

We have partnered with Kinek.com to provide a great new shipping option to our Canadian customers. Kinek has set up secure parcel receiving locations, called KinekPoints, at nearly every major border crossing between the US and Canada. Each location is located on the US side of the border and by signing up for the Kinek service and shipping to one of them, you can receive the same shipping prices as US customers! Once your package arrives, Kinek notifies you (by email, text message, or push notification) and will then store the package for up to 30 days for you. You can then drive to the KinekPoint and pick up the item at a convenient time for you. Upon pick-up, you pay a small fee, usually $5 for packages under 30lbs, far less than international shipping and brokerage fees! Some of the major cities Kinek serves are: Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg, London, Kingston, Kelowna, Sault Ste. Marie, Saint John, Fredericton, and Cornwall. For your protection we will sometimes ask for verification on a "ship to" address.

We will ask for a return phone call, email or fax confirmation to verify the information provided for the cardholders' protection.

*Please Note* We ship orders to the address that your credit card statement is mailed. Therefore, it is important that your "ship to" address match your "bill to" address, when placing your order. This is the policy of credit card merchants. Credit card merchants provide some exceptions for businesses, schools or government offices, with multiple addresses or PO boxes for their billing addresses. If you need to ship to an alternate address, there are several payment options available to suit your needs. Refer to our payment terms for details.


Once your order is ready to ship we will email a tracking#.

Visible Damage Upon Receipt:

Please inspect package for any visible external damage. Do Not Accept package if damage is visible.

Concealed Damage:

Please unpack and inspect your items carefully for any damage or missing items.

If upon opening package an item is damaged it is the customer's responsibility to contact the carrier. Please save all packing materials until issue is resolved with the carrier.

Missing Items:

Please call BarnDoor Lighting immediately.

Please do not destroy or damage the manufacturers packaging or warranty cards.

A refund is subject to an item being returned in new, resalable condition.

All claims for damaged and missing items must be reported within 3 days of receipt to BarnDoor Lighting at 1-888-BRN-DOOR.

Returns and Exchange Policy:

15 Day Return Policy (from date order is received), for Lighting equipment, Grip equipment, Tools and Bags. ***Please note: if returning an item, we must be notified within 7 days of receipt of order. Item must be returned to us within 15 days of receipt of order.

Returns May Be Subject to 15-20% Restocking Fee...please contact us for details.

Shipping fees are not refundable.

Expendable Supplies (Bulbs/Lamps, Gels, Tape, Rope, and other expendable supplies) are Not Returnable.

Items returned after 15 days will not be accepted.

Steps to Returning an Item:

1) Before returning an item an RMA# is required. Please Call BarnDoor Lighting at 888-BRN-DOOR to receive an RMA#. The RMA # must be posted on the shipping label.

2) All items must be returned in new, resalable condition with all packaging, warranty cards, manuals and other collateral. Refunds will be refused if missing or damaged.

3) Place the item in a shipping container and protect with proper packing material.

4) Do not apply any stickers or shipping labels to the manufacturer's packaging.

5) Ship UPS, Fedex or USPS with a tracking #, prepaid and insured. If not insured, customer is responsible for any damage.

BarnDoor Lighting will refuse a refund unless all conditions are met.
