Modern Studio 4x4 Butterfly Breakdown Frame

We've tried our hands at making our own 4x4 frames over the last couple years and, while they kind of worked, to maintain rigidity they had to be permanently joined.
These guys, given the nature of the way square tubing fits together, are very rigid and work very well.
They also break down small enough to be able to transport in a small vehicle or, in our case, they don't take up any room at all in our trailer.
Highly recommend them.
