OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR GAMCHEKPOWER CHECK:
- Cable test monitors line continuity, shows completed circuits.
- Lamp test indicates the lamp and fixture continuity
- Circuit tester checks if power is available, if polarity is correct, if wiring is correct.
- Controls and LED indicators recessed in ergonomic case.
- Battery included (9V).
Position switch to 'Cable' setting. Plug GamChek into power recepticle. If there is no power, no LED will light. If there is power, match the LED configuration with the diagrams on label to see power status.LAMP CHECK:
Position selector switch to lamp symbol setting. Plug the fixture or light into female end of the GamChek. If lamp and wiring are good you will get an audio signal and an amber LED indicator light.CABLE CHECK:
Position selector switch to the 'Cable' setting. Plug both ends of the cable into the corresponding ends of the GamChek. Depress each button (H, G, N) individually. The red LED is the Hot wire, green is Ground and yellow is the Neutral. Each LED should light alone in correspondance with its button. If a button lights a non-corresponding LED, you have a miswired cable. If two LEDs light together, you have a short. If a LED does not light, there is no continuity through that line.ATTACHING A LANYARD OR TIELINE:
By removing the 6 screws (A) and lifting off the back you can install a tieline. Simply insert the line through the hole (B), and tie a knot in one end so the line cannot be pulled out.REPLACING/INSTALLING BATTERY:
(C) denotes location of 9v battery
