Shot Bags are made of 1000 denier Cordex Black Textured Nylon with a water resistant polyurethane coating on the inside, triple sewn with a Blue safety strip* at the bottom. Steel Shot which has been treated with a rust inhibitor (although it will rust) and is encapsulated in a 6 mil poly inner bag, which is heat sealed. Shot Bags are now manufactured only with a Carry Handle on each side.

The Advantage to shot bags versus sand bags is the shot bag is much smaller in size (more compact) than a sandbag, taking up less room in your vehicle or studio.
