Shot Bags are made of 1000 denier black polyester fabric with the carry handle made of RED polypropylene webbing.

Shot Bags are made of 1000 denier Cordex Black Textured Nylon with a water resistant polyurethane coating on the inside, triple sewn with a Blue safety strip* at the bottom. Steel Shot which has been treated with a rust inhibitor (although it will rust) and is encapsulated in a 6 mil poly inner bag, which is heat sealed. Shot Bags are now manufactured only with a Carry Handle on each side.

The Advantage to shot bags versus sand bags is the shot bag is much smaller in size (more compact) than a sandbag, taking up less room in your vehicle or stage.
